Scotland Solar Installer Hub

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Caledonia Energy Efficiency Ltd (company number [CRAIG TO SUPPLY]), trading as Scottish Energy Efficiency.

Our registered office is at Unit 3, Prospect III, Prospect Business Centre, Dundee, DD2 1TY, Scotland, United Kingdom.

You can reach us by email at info@scottishenergyefficiency.co.uk or by phone on 0141 230 0198.

2. What we do

Scottish Energy Efficiency operates a directory and matching service. We connect homeowners across Scotland with vetted, accredited energy-efficiency installers.

We are not an installer. We do not carry out surveys, supply equipment, or perform any installation work. Our role is limited to introducing you to a suitable partner installer based on the information you provide.

3. Our free quote service

When you request a quote through our website, we share your details with one of our partner installers so they can contact you and arrange a survey.

  • The quote service is completely free and carries no obligation.
  • You are never committed to proceed with an installation simply by requesting a quote.
  • We will never pressure you into making a decision.

4. Contractual relationships

If you choose to go ahead with an installation, your contract is directly with the partner installer, not with Scottish Energy Efficiency or Caledonia Energy Efficiency Ltd.

The installer is responsible for all aspects of the work, including the survey, design, supply of equipment, installation, warranties, and aftercare.

We strongly recommend that you read and understand the installer’s own terms and conditions before signing any contract.

5. Information on this website

We make every effort to ensure the information on this site is accurate and up to date. However, energy-efficiency technology, government incentive schemes, and pricing change frequently.

Content on this website is provided for general guidance only and should not be treated as professional or financial advice. Always confirm current details — particularly around grants, eligibility, and pricing — with your installer and the relevant scheme administrator.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, images, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of Caledonia Energy Efficiency Ltd or its licensors, and is protected by copyright and intellectual-property law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or republish any material from this website without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial use such as printing a page for your own reference.

  • Your use of, or inability to use, this website.
  • Any reliance on information provided on this website.
  • The quality, timeliness, or outcome of any work carried out by a partner installer.
